East India Cafe is proud to support the Kohler Mira Enchanted Evening, a prestigious black-tie ball taking place at Cheltenham Ladies College to raise money for charity:water.

The organisation aims to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in need around the world, improving health, education and opportunity – especially for women and children.

The Enchanted Evening fundraising event – taking place in the College’s exquisite Princess Hall on Friday, November 3 – has been organised by Cheltenham showers company Kohler Mira.

It will feature an auction and raffle, with East India Cafe providing two seven-course tasting meal vouchers for the event.

The East India Cafe was delighted to be runner-up in the prestigious Restaurant of the Year category at the 2017 Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards.

The awards are an annual celebration of the region’s food and drinks industry, with the Restaurant category recognising establishments that provide exceptional service and delicious menus with locally-sourced, seasonal produce.

Nominations were made by readers of Cotswold Life magazine and the final shortlist of three was selected by a panel of judges. East India Cafe was the only Cheltenham restaurant to be featured on the shortlist.

Litu Mohiuddin, Chef Patron at East India Cafe, said: “We are thrilled and excited to be on the shortlist for such an esteemed award. Thank you to Cotswold Life for this recognition and to our wonderful customers for your support.”
